GeordieSteve
I've got a DLT8000 setting in bits downstairs as the compay replacing it on warrenty have taken a week to do anything about it (still waiting). That drive is only 5 month old and the external jobby we had before was only 3 days old!
carl0s
had major problems with DLT repair companies. Have a good source for leader tapes and what not though. The problem with the DLTs all seems to be that they don't keep the tape tensioned and it gets wrapped around inside, then all the lights start flashing. Wierd. I lost quite a bit of money on "refurbed" DLT units.
