You have to use an image hosting site, like Photobucket or Flickr, etc. You upload to them, copy the link, and paste it into the body of your post, then Fanny's your proverbial aunt.

 

sounds difficult so sod it lol ill keep doing what im doing.

 

Or when you put up a picture as an attachment. Click on the picture, when it opens in another page copy the whole address from the address bar then put then the web address here .

There is that, but it uses forum server space, so it's not recommended for large amounts of images, but it is a lot easier. You have to also make sure that the images are smaller than 200K to upload, which doesn't matter on Photobucket, etc.

 

Maybe the forum could add a photo uploader that automatically constrains images to fit better. A bit like Facebook does. :)

Ah, didn't realise that! I use Photobucket anyhow :)

about time!! woo hoo. i just want to add larger pics for the new project thats all.

 

I wasn't too sure about using a hosting site but I'd highly recommend Photobucket. It's really simple to use and all ready tags the link with so you can't mess it up.
