damadom
hmmm will my toyota dealer sell the battery i need though as mine is jap spec?
Matt H
Batterys from Halfords are well expensive. A local motor parts place will see you saving around 1/3rd off the Halfords price. I dare say there would be even better savings out there if you looked hard enough.
johnny g
The Halfords guarentee is worth it though, for me.
Matt H
The Halfords guarentee is worth it though, for me. I got 3 years with my £56 battery from a local parts store. You just not paying the extra for the massive overheads that comes with Halfords.

Scott
If the terminals you have on your car at the moment are too large for the battery you are trying at the moment then that means they have been changed to standard UK size terminals. Basically this means that the UK battery will fit as will the Halfrauds battery. If you are saying the terminals are too small for the battery you are trying at the moment then the easiest solution is to change the terminals (10 min job). Once that is done you can then swap over to a UK/Halfrauds/A-N-Other battery without any hassle. I would go with the stock UK one TBH. £20 saving on the halfrauds one for a start. I dare say you could cheeky out a discount from toyota too, just preach about the club etc and how you will bring a lot of business their way from members if they give a decent discount.
