I shall be trying tiger seal and see if that sticks it back in place, i dont think trimming the dash will help. If the tiger seal doesnt work then its a new dash or live with it.

Did you try the tiger seal yet?

I was looking at mine tonight & pulled the vent out so i think of a fix because since this thread it has been bugging me even more lol.

Afraid i've not got round to doing this yet but if anything will stick it back in place then tiger seal will, if that fails i doubt anything else would work

If you attempt to fix yours post some pics and how you get on in this thread as it will be good info for others.

Ok people i had a little go of this last night & never really got too many pics because it was only a test that i thought would go horribly wrong. It worked though :D.

What i done was got some of the bonding in the pic & used a piece of cardboard to push blobs in under the dash, wedged a couple of big books between the dash & windscreen over night & this is the result.

Sorry about the windscreen, my hands got it a little dirty.

The stuff

After

Now i only done about 12" so i will do the rest tomorrow. What i would recomend is to attach a thin hose to the silicone gun so it could be pumped straight into the dash.

I will make up pics of the gun when i've modded it to what i find usefull.

Hope this helps some of you.
