Mas
Hey folks Has anyone heard of or used an ORC clutch before? While Im Japan I came across these! Im still thiking to make a move for the carbon carbon triple plate but knowing I will be pushing no more than 500-600hp in the future, not sure if spending all that cash on a carbon carbon is wise! so looking around to find a good enough clutch that doesnt need changing ever again or rebuilable like the carbon carbon http://www.partsdepot.jp/auction1/ORC-559CC-1.jpg
Lude
has anyone heard of them? yes Ogura are probably one of the top clutches available. pricey tho
JamieP
Nice clutches, I had a ORC quad plate in my old red supra, that was an evil clutch, you wont need a triple, even a twin would be slight overkill for that power.
Mas
Nice one Jamie! How smooth are they, compare to the carbon carbon youre using right now? how about the noise?
hodge
I've fitted a twin plate Ogura clutch to mine. Odviously can't comment on how savage it is as the cars not running as yet but the quality is awesome.
JamieP
Nice one Jamie! How smooth are they, compare to the carbon carbon youre using right now? how about the noise? As i say, mine was evil but that was a quad plate, id imagine a twin plate would be fine, they rattle much like any twin/triple plate. Guest Soarer Tim
Had a single plate in a 200sx. very good clutch, but very noisey. doesn't quieten down because the pressure plate between the clutch disc and cover was floating.

Scrape that then Im not buying one yet to find a friendly clutch or burn £2K+ on a carbon carbon!
