inlet temps vs boost issues

hi all

i have a bpu jspec with

no cats

trd replica exhaust with 1.2 rr

walbro fuel pump

hks fcd

hks front mount

apexi bov

apexi avcr

blits panel filter

stage 3 hybrids (fitted thinking turbos was the problem)

aem fic (fitted after problem)

aem afr ( fitted after problem )

been having a problem with not making full boost only getting 0.75 with second turbo sometimes a little more but has been getting worse first turbo making 0.65,but with the boost controler turning them up, just want to find out if doing it this way would increase the inlet temps?

if it does effect it

it used to make over 1bar some time ago but with the avcr fitted never noticed a problem as avcr was compensating,

i have checked the exhaust for obstructions

i replaced vacuum pipes i think i got them all

when putting preasure into vacuum hoses it come back into the intake system,NOT SURE IF THATS BECAUSE OF THE AVCR?

could this be the preasure tank valve?

where do i go from here checking this fault,

any help greatfully recived

i have not tested all the vsv how do you do that?

the waste gates was not machined bigger i dont think

i havent tried running with out the restistor ring as once was good so there must be another problem

but still would uping the boost via avcr increase inlet temps this sequencial set up is confusing to me

If you have checked everything else, then i would be looking at a boost leak, small split in a hose that opens up under boost, BOV as Matt said, or my favorite wold be the Apexi solenoid, hear of these causing problems before.

the apexi avcr solenoid leaking?

intresting surely if that was leaking it would make more boost?

I didn't say anything about it leaking, but they have been known to go faulty, as in not cycling as they should, and so cause boost problems, if you can find nothing else wrong, then it would be worth removing it and let it run actuator pressure, or temporally fit a bleed valve.

Okay the results are in and for all thows that had there money on

Spilt vac = you where wrong

Vsv = you where wrong

Bov = you where wrong

For all thows that had it down to the switched off avcr solonoid that should be doing abosolutly nothing you win, tricky ricky is the champion you sir are a star :trophy:
