My car is eating Alternators

Well if the battery is low, the alternator has a harder job of charging the batt back up to its full voltage, but it shouldnt be a major problem though. I wouldve just put the battery on a trickle charge just to be safe, then connected it back up. Did you ever measure the voltage at the batt terminals while the car was running to see what the voltage was reading?
