paddynewman
Ive got rid of both 1st and 2nd cats on my NA. Aside from sounding alot nicer... I seem to be doing better on fuel, cat had a HUGE hole in there. Now the cat had a lambda sensor i believe, just before joining the next pipe.. The decat pipe doesnt have a hole for this. Ive currently got it cable tied out of the way... what on earth do I do with it

tony666
i tied mine up as well mate, think the sensor is somethink to do with the exhaust temperture but not to sure
Nic
The sensor in the cat is a temperature sensor for the cat overheating warning light on the dash - the oxygen sensors are mounted on the 2 cast manifolds on an NA - the temp sensor can just be cable tied out of the way, it has no effect on performance.
