TLicense
Just ordered myself up parts to build a PC.... AMD Athlon 64 3700+ S939 1MB CPU GIGABYTE S939 nForce4Ultra 2xPCI-E ATX Motherboard GIGABYTE GeForce 6600GT 128MB PCI-E DVI Graphics card CORSAIR 2x1GB 2x184DIMM PC3200 CL3 Memory SEAGATE Barracuda 7200.7 200GB SATA150 Hard disk drive It's all 64 bit architecture, which will be redundant for the now, but future proof me for the coming years, and will still run the current 32 bit stuff. I'm going to be using I-DEAS on this (and potentially UGNX in a short while) and my girlfriend will be using it for her Photography work. So what do you recon? Should it be man enough for the job? Cheers, Tony
Bobbeh
Everything looks cool but for the GFX card - if you want future proof (good for 2 years ish) a 128meg card isnt gonna cut it.

colsoop
But that board supports dual graphic cards so if in the future if he wants more performance he can add another 6600 gt. I use that g card and it is a good middle range card.

TLicense
Just realised I may have ordered up the wrong card. I wanted the 256MB Gigabyte GeForce PCX6600 256MB PCI-E DVI-I VO As far as I can tell it's the same card but with 256MB of graphics memory. Oh and it's cheaper
