imi
Challenging Races tonight - my goal was not to finish last....and that was a challenge. Regarding the 1st Race. Were you guys running the Tom's supra or something different, I was hitting the limiter on the straights and all you lot basically pulled away...... Perhaps I need to contact oilman and change from Castrol to Silkolene
AJI
haha Yeah the standard TOMs Supra was hitting the limitter on the straights. But you can get a tow and hit a higher speed for a short time. Some good racing online, I never done much of it before but I thinks its a good laugh. First coner mayhem is always fun.
Bobbeh
Yeah enjoyed tonight a lot Was good to see my modded Lambo holidain up quite well against the GT cars until I did the usual move onto the grass lol
little num
I found it really hard, my car just wouldnt handle, when i went into the settings everthing was turned off no traction - ABS - steering - nothing is that due to the setting the host had set. Bobbeh
I did but they went off very quickly lighting up at most corners.. I had that Le Mans race in the bag but blew it about 4 corners from the end touching the damn grass lol - I was so pissed but did laugh lots seeing Alan totally shave/miss out the chicanes leading onto the start finish the cheeky sod
ScottC
I really enjoyed that Le Mans race. It looks awesome in the dark.
AJI
That LeMans race was cool. Starting off in the dark and going through to morning. The graphics and the lighting system in the game are a big step forward. I was heading on for 2nd place but my 100mph+ entry in to the tyre wall on lap 4 didn't help my cause in that race. haha. I was waiting for the brake lights of 2nd place in front of me before I braked, but they never appeared.

Bobbeh
Yup, I enjoyed Monza a lot, I thought I'd own you all in my Lambo but Aron stole my thunder
AJI
Yup, I enjoyed Monza a lot, I thought I'd own you all in my Lambo but Aron stole my thunder haha The Ferrari 458 that I have in the garage is particularly set up for Monza 2nd and 3rd gear conrers I have the gearbox so that its hitting the limiter if I accelerate too much. It means that if I get a bit too throttle happy, instead of spinning off it will just hold the speed on the limiter until I exit the corner and select next gear. (The 458 has 7 gears so its easy to set it up like this on some tracks). Saying that, Bobbeh, you were matching my times on many of the laps. Its just as well I got ahead at the start when I did
Bobbeh
Yeah, thats it, you gotta get the gear ratios and camber right for some of the tracks if you want to be really particular about it. In the first race/practise I had it set up for a stop speed of about 235! But the track isnt big enough for that car to hit those speeds.. then lowered it to about 215, I think I should have reduced it further! Put a full bodykit on my Lambo now, looks pretty mean in black

imi
is there a way to have ones setup's saved. example: supra - one setup for monza, 2nd setup for le mans, etc...?
Bobbeh
Dunno, different tracks would require different settings regarding gear ratios and wheel settings etc. I wonder if you can save settings per vehicle per track?
