Josh
I think that's a little unfair. Christmas day was only 13 days ago. Some murder trials go on for years. It's only that there has been very little 'news' over the Christmas period as always that this has been so prolific in the media. Oh yeah, of course. I was just saying that the clues aren't always there as depicted in CSI. Searching through however many hundreds of tonnes of rubbish and they still have no trace of the pizza. Ian C
I doubt the photo would have turned out had that been the case.... a bit like taking a picture of the sun with the camera in a night mode setting. Muzzle flashes aren't that bright I've got a couple of good piccies back at home, I'll try and remember to upload them tonight.

hackin_n_bashin
The Jo Yeates murder is a good example. It's taken them since Xmas day and they've only just found out she only had 1 sock and no shoes. I don't in any way think murder is "good" but the killer has done well not to be caught. pedrosixfour
Well at least he can genuinely say he was framed for it while he is awaiting his execution!

Scott
Still doesn't look like it would ruin the picture Have you taken a picture using a camera on nightmode It looks like it was just a snap so I don't think it would be anything other than a little compact camera taking the photo. They are VERY easily messed up with other light sources.

Ian C
Is that the brightest flashpoint? I thought gunpowder was bright yellow. Every shot my mate has taken of me shooting at the range has given that colour, as those three pictures demonstrate. Might be the propellant type used (I stick with one ammo type as the point of aim can change if you switch) But I've never seen a muzzle flash I'd class as 'bright'. And that 357 is effing evil to fire compared to most guns, so if any was going to light the place up, it'd be that. Probably more spectacular at night, but it's an indoor range I was expecting something more like this... http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:UUaU-EMw7eBqbM:http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j157/Sandfire18/Guns/DSCN2202.jpg&t=1 That looks like a Jericho, so probably 9mm. I'm surprised it makes that bright a flash for such a puny round, maybe it's cheapo military ammo burning old socks or just good old photoshop
