Guest carmsbody Posted January 6, 2011 Share Posted January 6, 2011 (edited) does anyone have the spec sheet for these camshafts. i have tried searching on here and google, and cant find all the details i am after. or if someone can provide a link with the details i am after. the JUN website dosnt list the information i am after either. and also does the 2jz head need to be modified to accept a 10.8mm lift cam shaft, i cant find a definitive answer to that either. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JUN 272 HIGH LIFT CAMSHAFT (ALL INFO CONFIRMED BY JUN CONSULTANT) ADVERTISED DURATION: 272 DEGREES DURATION @ .050":?? Chris Wilson Posted January 12, 2011 Share Posted January 12, 2011 (edited) It says: "MACHINE TO CLEAR LOBE ROTATION: YES" So the head needs machining to give the cam lobes more clearance. Fairly easy on a universal mill. Plus you need to modify the top spring retainers or buy JUN ones. Here's how I did my Skyline head, the blue ring shows the cut outs.
