Went to Amsterdam last year and coming out of a coffee shop I saw their Christmas people and thought I was seeing things; "Blacked up" people must be ok over there

The-Plethora
The only place I have ever seen them is at a small shop at Llanberis in Wales (think I spelt that right) where the train starts from to get up snowdon, was quite a novelty! a whole wall of them. Matt H
these are plaster ones.the broken one is the singer. I was going to say they are probably worth a lot until I read that bit. I think that factor might take you from a fortune to next to nothing?
barneybrendan
Iknow bummer that it was broken somehow. If they are not worth anything i might stick them on the dash board in my van as they seem to make me smile looking at them. peter richards
went down the other day , and my old man did the trick big time nearlly all of them are broken. 9 players from a footy team , all the musicians and a lollypop man had a look at prices and looks like between £10 and £20 per item unbroken lol

Bobbeh
I think the term 'Golly' is the accepted term to use these days. I still have a toy somewhere I had as a kid, thought nothing of it then nor do I now with regard to what it apparently now represents!
