Trying to connect old games consoles to a PC monitor

Hey guys, I recently bought a 42" plasma monitor on the forum, and i'm now looking to connect some old games consoles to it. The problem with old games consoles is they use an aerial lead to connect to the telly, and provide the picture and sound.

Ideally, what i'm looking for is a connection block, with maybe 5 arial cable inputs, going to rgb, DVI or a standard pc monitor plug.

I've had a good look around on the net, and can't find anything.

Thanks.

Have you considered emulation instead?

Emulation just isnt the same as blowing dust out the machine and cartridges to get the damn thing to play

:yeahthat: I have emulators, but it doesn't really cut it.

I'm going to connenct a NES, a SNES, a Megadrive 1, an N64, a Mastersystem, a PS2, a Commodore CD32 and an Atari Jaguar (i'm still to buy the last 2)

It's true you can't beat that nostalgic feeling of bringing the old console out of the loft etc. I still have my N64 etc but I do find that the novelty can wear offwhen you realise just how used to the higher resolutions and detailed models that have in todays games - at least with emulation you can get the benefits of higher resolution and texture filtering with some of them.

I could quite happily dig the N64 out, all 4 of my controllers and have a few mates round to play GE64 and Perfect Dark - 4 player split screen on a 50" plasma will surely beat the old 15" CRT we used to have to share between us! :D
