Josh
My Dad deals with a guy through work that lives in Iran (I think, or somewhere round there) and apparently at some petrol stations the fuel is free because they have so much of it.. supra steveo
we should hold a huge protest, get all the forums together and park 10,000 tuned motor's on the M6 and not move! sod that i was thinking more along the lines of grid locking london Unfortunately, no one will take a group of people seriously if they drive big engined, thirsty cars. Get all the Prius owners on it! i was thinking about having a mini fuel strike all on my own just because of the bloody price, anyway i think buying a push iron will help me a little bit after a knee operation too kinda self help but i tell you what ............... why the hell did we invade Iraq in 2003 ? we all know it was for oil
Purity14
Massive convoy 100's strong, all purposely run out of petrol on the m25 as a protest* *also keep a can of fuel on you for when the protest is over

Brazil
In Angola it cost 10US dollars to fill up a supra petrol tank...! In Portugal it's costing me around 75euros (BP's 98octane)...! go figure..!
dude
No, it's definately BP. They're around 5p per litre more than the other petrol stations round here, including a Shell. BP 7p a ltre cheaper on LPG and cheaper on 4 star than Shell, 2 shell stations sell LPG and one is 80p the other 83p and they are 5 miloes apart, how does that work ?????? JustGav
I'm thinking avgas again Hmmm, maybe not, it has gone up something heavy as well... 1.60/l
BazzaAlpine
1.31.9 for BP's regular round here though they usually have a 3p off voucher in the local paper. Hate to think what it's going to be like when the super is running again. Think it's disgusting how much the car drivers get ripped off especially with the state of public transport. Over 2 hours to get from St. Ives to my work place in Cambridge by bus. Thats about 10miles as the crow flies or a 20 minute car journey. snake
Cameron and clegg probably don't know how much a pint of milk is let alone a litre of petrol,Its probably been a few years since they have had to purchase either.
Konrad
and yet these energy companies seem to be recording record profits year on year..... Most of their profits have nothing to do with petrol prices or gas stations at all. Main cause of this price hikes is still tax.
marc_p
I just paid 127.4 a litre for regular:(

JustGav
The big problem is, if petrol price is reduced, where they will get the tax money from, so something else will go up.... On the whole UK is below other european VAT rates, at the end of the day we will get hit with tax one way or the other..........
