Guest realm of deceit
Hi there It's my first time posting, so excuse me if this isn't the right place for this topic! I bought a supra as a 'weekend car' back in August, and have garaged it over winter. It's now time to get it's MOT sorted, and as it's heavily modified, it's not the sort of car I'd take down to quick fit! I also want a pro to go over the car with a fine tooth comb and get it ready for spring. Does any one know of a specialist who could do all of this based in the north east? I understand that envy used to be the place to go, but not any more. Any one have any suggestions? Also, my chrome rims need refurbing and I'd like the carbon fibre bonnet respraying to be the same colour as the car - any ideas?? Thanks guys. neo2810
S.E.M in Sunderland for your alloy refurb. Got mine done there for £50 a wheel and they did a stunning job although you'll need to check they cover chrome (sure they do). Lot's of good reviews. S.E.M. Alloys Units 9c - 9d North Hylton Road Southwick Industrial Estate Sunderland SR5 3TX Tel: (0191) 548 0617 Fax: (0191) 548 9622 Another holler for Jurgen as well. Anything he can't do (resprays) he can recommend someone and probably get it done for you while he has the car.

Guest realm of deceit
Oh, just as an aside - anyone got any idea how much a hood respray to cover the carbon fibre might set me back?
Matt H
I was under the impression that no company can refurb chrome due to the cost. They have to do something different?
Guest realm of deceit
That's be a bit of a pain in the arse. Still, the chrome isn't that bad tbh. It's a case of 'I know they're not perfect', so I'd like em done. I'm more concerned about my hood. It's carbon fibre, and it would look great, were it not for the fact that there's a bloody big scratch down it. I'm under the impression that it's not possible to refurb carbon fibre, so unless any of you good people tell me otherwise, think it's gona need a respray. What do you think?
