There's not many Supes round my way besides lamboyello and Aweegin. Happy to organise a meet on the way and a convoy! They're what make these trips so memorable. I'm sure Matt and I will be setting off together from Lincoln - be interesting to see who else from our neck of the woods will be around on the day to meet up. BOB B
I'm taking my wife so there will be a few wife/girlfriend/partners coming. Just been onto Travelodge at Ashford and booked up a room. For those who may be interested there is a shell garage selling V power at junction 11 of the M20, which is just before the junction for the check in booths for the tunnel. A question for those who may be in the know, is there an equivalent fuel in France or would it be best to take a can with V power in. plus at some stage I think it would be best if we had a list of, "come in handy" things we take, so we don't double up but are well covered, (tools/spares/fluids). Dnk
Can all the information regarding the trip, costs, dates, times, hotels, what your doing etc be put into another thread and kept for info only ? Even the list of people that are 100% going could go in there and be updated as and when
DodgyRog
I have tryed the website a couple of times today and cant get it to work So I thought I would try going the old method and use the phone and see if they would price match the website, but they are saying there system has just gone down as well
DodgyRog
Right just had a long conversation with customer service and they launched a new website today and it failed immediately, they tried to relaunch the old site, but due to it being linked to the new site it wont run. They are hoping to have it running by late tomorrow. They will not be able to sell rooms at the cheaper £35 rate over the phone as thats internet only
Abz
Us kent lot will prob be meeting on the way down there. Abz have you heard back from the hotel yet? Not heard back from them yet! They most likely think I am taking the wee now asking for an even further discount!
DodgyRog
Managed to get the Travelodge website to work finally £35.75 for a family room (£2 charge for creditcard, I really hate that) It's still very clunky and comes up with a windows security warning
