Big thanks for lee's help on the phone today which cleared my my head's on a few little bits i had concerns on.

Anyway i got the head all cleaned up and screwed the new ARP studs into the block (hand tight). Got the new head gasket on and put the ARP washers in the head, then put the head on carefully making sure it all lined up.

I then opened the recommended ARP torque lubricant and put some on the washers, inside the nuts, and end of the thread on the stud.

once everything was done up finger tight i got the torque wrench out and set some of the torque settings up.

ARP State 3 equal steps to 80ft lbs

i done - 1st- 40ft lbs

2nd- 60ft lbs

3rd- 80ft lbs- last step

Once everything was finally torqed i moved onto getting the cams in and cam bearing caps all torqed correctly following the manufactures specification... and ensuring i lubricated the caps and where the cams sit before hand.

2 new cams seals were also replaced

Well did a bit today, managed to get the bottom water pipe on with a new thermostat fitted with new rubber seal... Then fitted it with some gold plated nuts.

found the middle tube which links the water pump to the top water neck, so i polished that and replaced the 2 O-rings.

just waiting on the waterpump bolts to come back from the chromers, then ill get it all tightened up.

big thanks to lee @ srd again, he has been a right legend helping me on this and giving information over the phone. cheers dude.
