Rob_Mitchell
SRD twin 14" fan kit fitted today, very thing there was in the kit needed to do the job, another nice product by SRD. Wiring is left untouched as i think Ryan needs to play around with it for the syvecs but im not 100% sure, ill just leave it for him and lee to sort out. Rob_Mitchell
Heh that must be at least the 3rd Do-Luck bonnet baldy has sorted Yeah thats because they are poor quality and the fixing points on them are a joke, the other 2 he sorted had flew up whilst driving so im getting the aerocatches done now to prevent it happening to me
hodge
For the wiring Rob all you need to do is fit a relay per fan and run both negative switch wires into the cabin to the passengers footwell so Ryan can wire them into the Syvecs. Rob_Mitchell
Trying to find a decent place to put this rad over flow tank, i have sat it here on some 2" masking tape just as a mock up... what you think people? or shall i not have it in the bay
kwalker705
I'd hide it if possible. Or tuck it down on the inside of the chassis leg( just below where it is just now) that way it'll be out of plain sight and not a distraction to the eye. The engine bay looks awesome and the tank itself is pleasing to the eye..but i fear it may start to make that area look cluttered if you put it there. Rob_Mitchell
you can get carbon(fake) ones too. Yeah i know. Im not a fan of carbon looking things unless its REAL! just reminds me of something in max power and them days are over for me lol
SupraDan24
Yeah i know. Im not a fan of carbon looking things unless its REAL! just reminds me of something in max power and them days are over for me lol I've got the same set as yours sitting in my garage waiting to go on my Top Secret bonnet. I took one look at the "carbon style" ones and decided they would look pants on a carbon bonnet, spec with the carbon weave design not going in the same direction as the bonnet lol. Q for you Rob seeing as you work in a spray shop, have you seen many of the Top Secret Bonnets sprayed to match the car? If so, would you say it looked better than Carbon? I'm debating having it done, but seeing TRD Spoilers fully sprayed put's me off as they look miles better wth the carbon centre fin. My car's white so the carbon bonnet can look funny from a distance.
Rob_Mitchell
I would paint it but thats just my taste as im not a carbon person, just because it cost alot does not mean you have to show the world the weave, i think bare carbon looks cheap.
