David P
Because it's a grey import, you could legally use a front plate with 64mm letters and 5mm surround which would let more air through that FMIC.
Rob_Mitchell
Leaving plate as it is, been trimmed so its small already.

hodge
It's moving on now mate, looks great. I would seriously consider moving the plate it's going to restrict air flow to the intercooler big time.

mellonman
if your not moving that numver plate it might of been better to have gone with a side mount, as said in other posts that will seriously restrict intercooler air flow, but if is mapped for the higher intake temps then it shouldnt make no odds but on a single i would want the best cooling i could get imo.As david said get the really small front plate that jspecs can have just to see if you like it no harm in trying it great work cant wait to see that motor run. Rob_Mitchell
yeah im looking into the smaller plates now actually, see what i can come up with.
David P
I had this one made by a local sign maker, 64mm with 5mm surround, which for an 'import' is the minimum legal size, less the makers details at the bottom. He will make one to your exact spec and send a proof by email for prior approval. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?233707-Project-Supracharger&p=3212423#post3212423 For further info, there is a link in my garage re. plate legalities. Scott
That little one you are talking about, should that not be open ended in case of pump failure?

Rob_Mitchell
That little one you are talking about, should that not be open ended in case of pump failure? no that one needs to be blocked off, there is another smaller pipe at the bottom of the pump which is left open. David P
I think the ARB and it's brackets would look better painted black.

David P
If a coded front ARB floats your boat, would it become a catamaran if you painted the rear one orange too.
