The hole aint that bad but the plan from the start is to incorporate a black rubber gaitor to keep it all snug and to stop any crap coming into the bay.... all under control mate lol.

never doubted it for a second ;) whats the next step then?

next step for the build is to make some custom brackets to mount the gearbox coolers and power steering cooler inbetween the rad and intercooler... then test fit/cut front bumper.

I also need to decide where to mount the radiator over flow tank, not sure whether to have it on show or not.

No its ok mate but thankyou anyway. i just wanted to know if i had to cut the side bits, to allow for the intercooler pipework but i know what to do now. I doubt it will be on show but it does look good where jamesy has his.

Wait a min, that loom is connected? WTF? I had a hard enough time getting the blighter out.

Did you remove all the plastic hard crap holding the loom together and then re-cover it to protect it? I just finished taking mine out tonight and it was a pig of a job..... and that's removing it lol.

Got Mr.SRD to come down the garage and do all the loom when engine and box was on the floor. He removed the black plastic covers and cut off unwanted plugs. All the loom was wrapped in insultion tape then wrapped in some magic fabric super doopa tape. Cant thank him enough really as it looks far better than i expected.

We did route some of the loom wicked though and alot of wires needed attention to make them longer.

I think I'll do that also, not to hide it but just to make it more plyable. The plastic guards are a nightmare. I had a hard enough time with the fusebox one.

Little update

Both gearbox coolers are mounted together and im in the proceeds of knocking some brackets to mount the coolers inbetween the rad and intercooler. I ordered some aerocatches yesterday for the do-luck bonnet.

Slowly getting there.

Sent a little box of plastic parts to my chrome painter today, should add some nice touches for under the bonnet
