Ordered ANOTHER radiator today due to the other one fitting badly. I have gone for a ASI Aluminium racing radiator now and i believe these are very good fitment, fingers crossed.

Ordered a Black straight silicon reducer to replace the blue greddy one i got in the intercooler kit, just going to gold plate the jubilee clamps in a moment which hold it on.

Got my new radiator today and what a great fit, at last. I chucked it on the polisher to get it shiney and fitted it up. The radiator clamps look great and tie in the nicely with the theme.

Need to muck around and get the stainless straight plinth bolted on but it only needs a little trim, ill do that later after work.

And yes i know the cap is pissed but its the way its made lol.

i can see it driving me wild too but not top of to do list at the moment.

where does the other end of the chain bolt to on the rad cap?

It just slides over the overflow pipe before you put the hose on. I cut mine off cos it rattled and annoyed me lol.

I got the same radiator and had a few issues with fitment. Firstly, it took me ages and took pretty much my whole weight to push in into the rubber mounts. Then the stock airbox top feed wouldn't fit as it normally sits on top of the rounded stock radiator so I had to make a bracket to get it to.

But hey, as long as it works and hopefully doesn't need to be changed any time soon, it's all good.

John, do you want to sort the cap on mine out too? :p

Got a bit more done after work today.

found some decent blanks to blank off the vaccum pipes on the Q45 throttle body.

Got some gasket paper/card and cut out a nice gasket for the Q45 to marry up to the greddy manifold. Used a bit of sealer too but not much.

After alot of mocking up and messing around, the greddy intercooler pipe got marked in a few places but i have polished loads of pipes for members, so i mirror polished mine even better and more importantly i got rid of the scratches.
