Josh
Looks great. I always thought black would look better, but I've been converted and think it would possibly look unfinished

I always thought black would look better, but I've been converted and think it would possibly look unfinished i ruled black out a long time ago, orange was the only colour for the bay imo... just had its first coat of clear and the colour has gone wild, the pearl in it is amazing. Rob_Mitchell
24 carat Gold plated my inner wing engine dress kit tonight from Clay at Versitile fasteners, best kits around and very nice stainless steel. Takes time as each washer and centre bolt is done individually and then individually polished, little extra touch though. Still got 8 more to do for other items but atleast my inner wings can be bolted down tomorrow. Washers come with plastic washers to protect the underneath from marking the inner wings. Rob_Mitchell
Got the car unmasked today on my break and started fitting the gold nuts and bolts i have been plating the past few nights. I got all the brake side of things all put back into the engine bay and its looking really really clean. Bonnet hindges and hooks are back on and fitted with some nice bolts, also the top mount nuts are on slightly Just need to get the wing bolts set in now. Rob_Mitchell
Started to muck around with the loom today, routed some of it pretty cool and virtually unseen. extended the wires to the brake level sensor and i also made the wire to the wiper motor longer ( routed these well good ) all wires were soldered and had heatshrink tube around them. Just need some orange insulation tape for the brake sensor wires and paint the gromit were they exit out from. only done one side but the fuse box side is all in place just needs finishing.
