Rob_Mitchell
Well after 4 really good coats of high build primer we are done. the look is exactly what i was after- stock looking but smooth. Got a couple of spot welds still visble, so im going to go over them with a decent stopper in a bit and leave it over the weekend before i flat it all down. Rob_Mitchell
All additional filler work is done with a stopper, this will remove all the factory spot welds which are all over the engine bay.

Ricky49
I thought you were going to change the colour of the whole car.
Rob_Mitchell
I thought you were going to change the colour of the whole car. No i was going to build another car as i bought a TT with front end damage but i blew that idea out the water and breaked it for parts. Best decision in my opinion as i love this orange one and would seem a waste to not give it a engine/ power it deserves.
Rob_Mitchell
Engine bay was fully wet flatted today and we did notice a few areas needed more attention plus we flatted through the primer in areas too. Anyway a final coat of primer was applied to engine bay and tomorrow we will wet flat it ALL again . Looking really smooth now though fingers crossed paint arrives
