Rob_Mitchell
Decided to gold the union on the fuel return pipe and also gold plated the bracket which is attached to the pipe. I like doing little touches like this and it should look good once fitted (hopefully anyway ) Should recieve all the throttle body brackets, tiny screws and springs ect back for the Q45, cant wait to get this done its one of the main pieces of the build and im really going mad with it. couple of snaps from tonight. hodge
Mate that TB looks the nuts. 1 thing I will say though is, all these stock fuel parts your chroming and fold plating will only come off after a few months of running the car cos you'll want more power lol. Awesome work as usual buddy. Keep it up.

I know mate but i cant see me wanting more power straight away but i know what your saying ha ha. wait till SRD have rebuilt the throttle body with all the brackets and springs- its going to look gorgeous. Rob_Mitchell
Started to notice a reaction happening on my oil filter must be the rubbish cheap metal there made out of. So i messed around on it today. Im not mad, i just enjoy mucking around with things and i like things looking right. I mixed some toyota 202 black up and made a quick GR logo up out of a supra sticker (gr = gold rush). Got the suface of the oil filter keyed up quickly just using a scotch bright and applyed the first coat of black. 3 coats later and its looking nice and shiney . Fingers crossed my idea will work but i need to allow the paint to dry off and find a sharp blade to remove the logo, ill then clear coat the lot to seal the end result. RCK10
This is going to be one special engine bay! Wasn't sure of it at first. Thought it would be a bit too much chrome and gold for me, but i'm actually really liking it now! Wouldn't want to be in your shoes when it comes to keeping it clean though Keep up the good work fella! ...
mplavery
Stunning mate, When you bring your car to shows etc are you going to have your car on small ramps with mirrors under it so people can see how much work has gone into this ?

marc_p
As I said once before, it's not my thing, but god damn I appreciate the effort that has gone into this. I think the best thing about it though is how easy it will be to spot an oil leak
