Rob_Mitchell
Got the 8mm water line all cut to size and found some decent jubilee clips. Runs under the runners perfectly so keeps things all neat. Got some plating to do tonight so ill treat the jubilee clips to some 24ct gold

Rob_Mitchell
Q45 throttle body sent off today to SRD for bit of work. Mucking around getting things mocked up, decided to test fit the wastegates and i never realised how big these bad boys are . Going to send the manifold off with the wastegates to whifbits so they can make my custom downpipe/midpipe and twin screamers, ill also order my turbo and fittings. I thought the same Jamie, the Tial gate I bought from you was nowhere near that size either. looks like Robs going to have to get a GT45 just to clear the gate lol. JamieP
My 40mm Turbosmart compgate on the same manifold only just clears and they are tiny wastegates. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/jamie450x/srdteaser070.jpg

Paul seems to think they will fit good but downpipe will need to be modified and screamers custom made. I think its going to be bloody tight but will be ok, if it aint then ill just sell on when the engine is in the car and get some compgates. JamieP
Its only 72mm so wont be laggy, to big for a stock autobox though, you want something near to 60mm really, just wont look as impressive that all.

Got me thinking about these bloody wastegates now!! i need a turbo to test fit. JamieP
For the power you want i would go billet 5862, only 58mm, will spool super fast, they also do a 55mm version, they are only $899 an all. http://www.spracingonline.com/store/Precision_58mm_Billet_Turbo_5862/3690
Bailey.
6265 billet, with the twin gates I bet you would see full boost around 3k.
Rob_Mitchell
To be honest guys i just need to have a think, i was going with the s362 and that has proved good results. I need to get the turbo soon, then i can make my mind up on the wastegates and decide whether to sell and get some compgates or go custom with things.
