Dim Sum
As mentioned, i have a a set a coilovers which have the grove on the coilover so you can adjust the heigh i assume. If the platform is lowered, does that mean the car will be lowered or raised?
mark newman
what do you mean about the platform. what is a platform on a coilover.
Swampy442
Depends on the coilover, some have spring preload height adjustment, where you compress the springs to adjust the height, others have true height adjustment where the shock body screws into a casing on the lower mount, not affecting the spring. Post a pic so we can determine what you have.

Dim Sum
ok let the platform down and the body will come down so if the platform is lowered it should increase the height?
Swampy442
Lower the collar to lower the ride height, and vica versa

Dim Sum
No raise it to raise the height. Thank you:) Sorry to be asking such a noobie question, i'm no mechanic just want to be sure before i carry it out. I had the Supra for seven months and seven months of fun and pain. I had it since stock and i'm hoping after the TT conversion and bodykit i will post a more recent picture of my pride and joy.
Swampy442
No probs, always better to ask than carry on and cock it up. Its a pai in the arse setting up ride heights, you need to measure each corner to make sure everything is even, which involves jack car up, adjust, lower car, measure, jack up, adjust lower, measure. Repeat ad nausium. Its best to get your geometry checked when youve finished adjusting.
