Dim Sum
I was thinking, never done it myself but can supras's come down from those type of car parks. I assume going up won't be a problem but coming down might be a different story right? I was thinking about going out for January sale at lakeside. marcAB10
a stock supra or not overly low one then yes, should be alright, the problem comes when you have an aftermarket bumper, usually if it 'sticks out' further than stock as the bumper can foul the ground before the wheels hit the curve if you get me. so unless your 'slammed' or have a kit, i wouldn't worry. Like prestons and you have to lie on the ground watching it doesnt scrape....... Fun times
Scott
It makes no difference whether you are going upwards or downwards.... as long as the ramps are the same. The angle required for clearance is still the same

Morpheus
From what I remember, Lakeside doesn't even have steep transitions compared to my local multi-storey and the old Beast didn't ground coming down what must be a 30 degree exit ramp around a tight bend onto flat, over speedbumps, yet it would tap the ground turning left around a normal corner sometimes. Ditto marcAB10, a non-issue unless you have trouble with 'flat' roads already. For a stock Supra, it's soooo not an issue that I'd put money on it. Edit; for some unknown reason, 'speedbumps' has been repeated once posted, making me look a right Pilchard, which, I can assure you, I am not. More of a Tuna really! I had a Bomex and I still have a big mouth; ask anyone! I can't see it being a problem but there's only one way to find out, isn't there? Why not park outside and then have a walk around the ramps to see what you think? You could even make a fold-out cardboard template Either way, take it rrrreal slow. Josh
Are completely stock Supras ok at getting over speed bumps and the like? I'm guessing as long as the front spoiler isn't down then it should be ok

RedM
I used to get minor scrapage at a multi-storey in Brighton. That was with a stock Supra with a Greddy exhaust. Same with some speed-bumps. Used to get a 'schiing' sound if they were too big.
L18msy
Multi-storey car parks are a no-no for me, bumper, sideskirts and exhaust all get a doing. I just pinch the wifes car.
Abz
I went Lakeside 2 days ago with the missus, I came down the multi story car park sideways...much easier! Mine is stock bodied and lowered on Tein & it seemed to go down fine (Garage pictures are old). Failing that, just park outside, loads of outdoor parking with no ramps. leelbuk
I've never really been worried about the inclines at multistorey car parks, it's the huge curbs they have either sides of the ramps between levels that I worry about and why I avoid them at all costs - supra sounds nice inside one though I'd imagine how much of an idiot I'd feel if I blocked everyone getting out of the multistorey like an episode of top gear so I'll be sure to think about this before taking it into somewhere new. Scutch0
Mines stock suspension and never had a problem with catching on any ramps or bumps... Only time I've caught it was since if fitted my locked down active front.
Brazil
I have a major hard time with this issue in Portugal...! Though I get a little kick out of having a bunch of people reversing to let me out because I can't drive up the ramp...! hahhah 'Yeah I know I'm a d..ck' hahahhaha
marc_p
I've had Veilside, Bomex and a Topsecret front bumper, none of which had any problem with multi story car parks, got an occasional scrape on the Veilside ans TS but not enough to warrant a problem. Chris Wilson
What's happening to the UK? Not that many years ago a pioneering spirit was going out invading somewhere we fancied dominating, and expanding our Empire. Now a huge thread is formed discussing whether we dare attempt an upper level of a multi story car park at Lakeside....
