MrRalphMan
What a great day I'm having. First my bus service is running a Saturday service, so to get in work for 7 I need to walk to the station. Trains are also running a reduced service, so my train was at 6:27 instead of 6:11. Now trying to get home and my southend trains are all cancelled out of Liverpool street, so on train to Shenfield to see if I can get s train from there. Utter garbage they have been since the snow. Arrrrrgggghhhhhhhhh. Paul
Josh
Surely as there's no snow anymore there shouldn't be a problem. Not that I ever [need to] get the bus but everything seems to be running as normal round here. Hope you get back soon.
MrRalphMan
Nope, no snow at all. Just seem to be using the reduced numbers to cut the service to pieces. I can understand cutting the number of carriages, but to run normal sized trains once an hour instead of three times in the mornings is a joke. Abz
Doesn't surprise me to be honest Ralph, the joys of working in the city. Think I might leave the office now actually after read this.
Havard
Why are you using public transport? It is for poor people only. It's in the rules..!! H.
Sakey
Public transport is there just to ruin your life, I gave it one little chance before the snow few weeks back and it failed miserably... 3 hours to do a 20 min drive...
tbourner
Some people think I'm odd for refusing to use public transport, I hate it.

MrRalphMan
Driving into London is too much like hard work and also too expensive... But at least it's a misery I can endure by myself, not with a bunch on unclean coughing slobbering morons.. Like the ones who made me ill for Christmas. marc_p
I couldn't bring myself to use the bus, as Havard has said already, the bus is for poor people and you WILL eventually end up being attacked on it
Swampy442
Im sure we would all use public transport if it was clean, cheap, safe and reliable, but its none of these things. I havent got on a bus or train in years and Im not about to start now.
Abz
I don't mind it usually. I just don't want people who know me from school etc thinking that I grew up to be poor..!! H. It is not bad up north, everyone can drive everywhere. In London it would take you 1 hour to travel 3 miles in rush hour, hence why people favour public transport. If you drove in London to work, then your mates from school will think you grew up to be stupid Driving into London is too much like hard work and also too expensive... But at least it's a misery I can endure by myself, not with a bunch on unclean coughing slobbering morons.. Like the ones who made me ill for Christmas. Ralph, you should drive into work, no congestion charge until the new year! After the new year it will be £10 a day to drive into central London. Guigsy
I like the train but I would never use it if I was in a rush. I used it to pick my car up from knightracer years ago and that was fine. Then again to go from Manchester airport to Sheffield after a long flight with no sleep (first class at 7am lots of room to snooze). I haven't used the bus since I was 14. The supertram in Sheffield is good. And the tube is ok. But I an never in London to use it.
Jord
I can't stand public transport. Im sure we would all use public transport if it was clean, cheap, safe and reliable, but its none of these things. I havent got on a bus or train in years and Im not about to start now. This pretty much sums up why. You just don't get the freedom and satisfaction that comes with driving. Then again, I don't live in a city.
