In 2 minds if this is a good mod or not?

I've read a bit on it on SF.

The 50% water 50% meth mixture should give better cooling, and less peak in cylinder pressure. I just want to add an additional safety feature, as I am planning on going for 700+ bhp on a stock engine. I talked to Ryan, and the AEM EMS can control the WI, so every vital aspect is controlled by the stand alone EMS.

I know that very few people use it here on the forum ... but I want to give it a try.

Good thread, nice to read about everyones plans.

My plan is to do a lot more with the Supra next year, its long over due some tlc. Missed a lot of shows and events this year so looking forward to putting the car into good use.

Mechanically the car is running well with the new 6262 turbo being fitted. It was all serviced a few hundred miles ago so will just get another oil change and the coolant needs changing as that was the only bit not done.

Car will be going in for work beginning of Feb...

Urethane front splitter

OEM skirts removed

Trial rear removed and replaced with stock which is sat in the spare room.

Autoshine diffuser fitted

Stock spoiler refitted, also in spare room

AB-Flug bonnet removed and replaced with stock, subtle vents cut out, also in spare room

New Facelift headlights

White powder coated calipers

New wheels, still deciding on design but they will be black

Windows out respray in Ferrari Grigio Silverstone including engine bay. And a general declutter of the bay.

Looking forward to seeing it sat in the new garage :)

Similar for me. Tlc. Needs front bumper, passenger wing and skirt repainting.

Another defi Guage and sensor fitting. When I decide wher to put the sensor. Diff, autobox or engine

Oil?

Relocate my afr guage somewhere.

Also respray a dash panel and mount my boost controller into it

My plans are.

1. Car finished with new paintwork.

2. Ryan to take away and map it on from the 11th Jan to 17th Jan.

3. Car back to jurgens for window tints and alarm

4. ICE setup to have finishing touches

5. To Scare all the Grannies all summer with my BL Exhaust

6. Wait until the Turbo blows up and get a bigger one.

7. Try not to blow my engine up

8. Enjoy it as much as i Can :)

My plans for 2011 will hopefully be :-

Rear bumper and both doors need a respray, plus a few dings removed from the doors!!

Been collecting bits over the last year now but Just missing a flywheel and clutch! But once I've got those crack on with doing my 6 speed conversion. :)

Get a momo steering wheel and fit a quick release boss.

And possibly go for a carbon diffuser, and if it's possible try and carbon wrap a spare active front lip I have!!

Ow and roll on summer as want to get to a few more shows and meets next year!! :)

Looks like most of the cars on here soon will be singles by the end of next year lol.

Mine is being completed at Jurgens as we speak...

Headgasket changed and all new upper engine gaskets.

New water pump and thermo, gates racing belts.

HKS 264's amd HKS pullies.

Some shiney bit under the bonnet.

Dash painted.

Front seats leathered in black with white centres.

Then a quick remap of the power FC by Ryan, raise the boost and have a bit of fun in it :)

As I wrote in the thread last year, I really do need to start using it more. All it seems to do is sit in the garage and cost a lot of money.
