Police really don't have anything better to do..

My uncle got pulled over the other day.... and guess what they gave him a £30 fine for??

(1) Dangerous driving? ---- no

(2) Breaking the speed limit? ---- no

(3) Having no MOT or Tax? --- no

(4) Concealing drugs/weapons in the boot? ----- no

the reason why this particular police man decided he was going to fine my uncle for was because he was driving through a village which was sign posted for access only.

My uncle lives in the next village and because he didn't have a reason to be travelling along the road through this other village the copper thought he would impose a penalty which most criminals when they deal drugs, or other more serious crimes get let off with.

A fine example of how our country had gone down the shyter I think.

Just think... this is what you and me are paying our taxes towards.... retard policemen who really should be fighting crime but instead see it more important to get £30 fines off the average joe.

(rant over)

p.s.

my bro is a policeman.. next time I see him I think I'll give him a dead-arm !

WTF? That's surely taking the p*ss.

I can understand the need for "access only", but if I pay my road tax then I'll drive through however many villiages I like thankyou very f**king much!!!

I can't believe they pulled him over and fined him for that  I try to defend our nation's policemen / women whenever I can... but how do you defend something like this?

I got spoken to in a car park by a police man. He carried out a vehicle check (i wasn't in the supra). The reson, because people sometimes do illegal things in cars. So Next time I want to park in a car park, so I can take a walk down the beach. i better not drive a car there. I just laughed at him.

The thing is... if I was pulled over and checked by a policeman because I look like a dodgy bas**rd in a flash car, I could accept that - that's their job and I'd rather they did spot checks like that.

But to make up something to make you sound like a criminal is just plain stupid... no-one likes to talk to a total jobsworth who doesn't seem to be from this planet!

If the police want to stop and check my car then I think that's all good (after all the Yorkshire ripper was caught by a random traffic stop), but FFS don't make up petty excuses to fine people!

i was pulled on thursday for not wearing a seatbelt i argued my case that i am a short chap and that me chewing my finger nails would have made it impossible for him to see anyway, so he just gave me his advice and breathalised me and also had a good walk about the car. he was an ok copper like and i think there needs to be more like him because i have met some right arseholes

it seems your uncle met an arsehole

Pretty much exactly the same thing happened to my dad about 2-3 years ago , stopped driving through a small village access only road using it as a cut through basicly , thinking on his feet he told the policeman that he was thinking of buying a house here i was checking the area out , he got away with that but still got done for not wearing his seatbelt .
