Lol, i danced my nut off to these guys in the 90's, prolly explains why I turned out the way I did :D

Still trying to convert this CD with the original lyrics on

You might not have heard of them before but check out Ultra Sonic, just about anything from the Techno Junkies album is fantastic, it was cutting edge at the time.

I used to dance at the raves

This thread made me think of some classics I used to listen to :D

That takes me back. I'm cracking up now though as the Riff part at 1 min in reminds me of an old school track that I can't remember. People something, or something people IIRC.

I'm sure Gareth (Nevins) sent me it a while back lol.

Yup, true hardcore fan then :D

When I first got into it I had all the rezerection tapes. I went on holiday to Majorca and let a couple of English kids hear what I had (I was 12ish), they didn't even know what "hardcore" was nevermind rez. I was astounded, and only found out later that it only REALLY kicked off in Scotland to start off with :D

I was on stage with them at "Heaven" in Scotland.

Lol, yeah all my best stuff was Scottish, TBH being a scott you should be ashamed for not getting that QFX from post 1 :p

Get back in the loft and find some pictures to scan in LOL

Unfortunately (Actually fortunately for me) I don't have any pics. I was WELL underage at the time and kind of lied as to what I was doing. You were paid in hand at the time and only called up when required etc. This meant no proud parents and no friends with camera phones lol.

Only pics I have are recent of me re-living those days as a fat old man looking like a twat when drunk and a 90's dance track comes on lol.

Even worse mate, I'm pretty sure that you have picked the right one........ however I haven't even heard it before!!!

Not one of QFXs price tunes though I must say lol.

Listening to it again, it HAS to be that song. "Energy, Energy, I need it, I need it"

Classic :D I can just picture one of those wedding parties where the old school classics come on and you get the 'mature' crowd up reliving the 'Good Ol' Days'

A few years back QFX came to one of my local nightclubs. Was a HUGE night and the tickets were pre-booked etc. Of course I was giving it big licks. The best of it was when they came on and played on of their signature tunes (everytime you touch me), I thought I would show the young pups how it was done...... which I did..... for all of 60 seconds before I collapsed in a pool of sweat lol.

Glad you can finally set your mind at ease. Nothing worse than having a tune in your head and not being able to find it.

All the great dance/techno bands were Scottish mate. The Time Frequency, Ultra Sonic, QFX... one of the few exceptions to the rule was The Prodigy. In the UK it all kicked off properly in Scotland, I think original hardcore came from Holland or somewhere like that. As soon as it hit the UK it evolved into many different brands (Happy Hardcore etc) and once that happened it just exploded.
