96sz
May be a silly question but my car has been garaged for 3 weeks and the battery has gone flat. Is it ok to charge the battery while it is still on the car? Or do i need to take it out and charge it indoors? Thanks
Terminator
Charge it in the car but keep it well ventilated. Your battery will not like being deep cycled so will not last much longer.
Havard
Get a trickle charger and do it gradually..!! I have a CTEK 3600, took a day to charge the battery but has kept it nice and topped up during the cold snap. H.
keancy
Just decided to give the Supra a little run after it's been parked up the best part of 3 weeks and all I get is clicky, clicky, clicky............. and to make things worse the jumpleads don't seem to be working
SupraP-Z
As Havard mentioned...get yourself a trickle charger, they cost around around £30 from halfrauds. Just put it on trickle charge for the day and it will be fine. You wont be needing any jump leads. If you have a voltmeter or multimeter just check what voltage the battery is floating at
