Got a quote on Elephant for the UK TT6 and got £1400 then with Admiral it was £1100 and Direct Line was £1250 IIRC. Check all 3 and see who's cheapest
Ric
A UKTT6 at 21 for me was 600quid. only because i went for the jspec is why it cost around 1000. I think a lot of insurance companys dont really know what the supra is, giving cheap prices, for me at least anyway

They ask if it's an SZ or RZ model, they don't seem to have UK or GZ models. J-spec quotes for me are crazily high!
nemo_arta
i was with sky insurance who last year with 5 years no claims it cost me £800 on the dot to insure my supra 3.0 n/a. i was 25! this year they want 1050 for same car with 1 years more no claims and wouldnt drop on it! so i left and went with adrian flux again on like for like insurance so i gotta send pictures off to make sure i get same car if an accident happens. euro insured so i can go to nordschleife nurburgring in july and all mods insured full body kit exhaust etc etc and it was 865 with my no claims protected!! spot on ill take that! mistertwo
Whenever I get a quote on the N/A's I'm looking at - Admiral, Elephant etc think that it's a twin turbo?! As it's insurance that's stopping me getting a TT, I might now be able to get away with it
Havard
I am insured with Lynbrook on a classic for the TT £293.00 The Audi A4 S-line is with Be Wiser Insurance £660.00 I tried every insurance company going last year and found Adrian Flux, Keith Michaels, Carole Nash and Liverpool Victoria to be the ones who were trying hardest. Maybe it was my personal circumstances but I would give them all a go. Good luck. H.
Terminator
Insurance premiums are going up across the board due to personal injury claims going through the roof. We all know of Supra's that have been smashed up, Keron is getting accident damaged cars on a regular basis, so other breakers are too. All this contributes to increasing premiums on the MKIV , add in post code risk and age related factors and you get shafted. Insurers are there to make money, so basing what you expect to pay based on last years figures is not much use in the present climate. JS2004
Is there no regulations around insurance companies? These quotes all seem to be varying a lot, in some cases more "qualified" and less risky drivers it seems are being hammered hard compared to some other newer drivers. Seems like insurance companies dont even need a balaclava to rob you blind. Wouldnt be as bad if they paid up when the $%$t hits the fan, but i have three friends who all got hit by other drivers and two ended up having to settle 50/50 and the other is going to just settle outside of insurance due to financial penalties of going through insurance (for about £200 quids worth of damage). For the OP.. try calling the brokers and speaking direct to them. When I got my renewal from flux it had gone up from £1890 to £2050. I rejected the renewal and got a quote from elephant (the cheaper of the three under Bell group). I then called flux back and quoted what elephant were going to charge - they asked me to hold and then came back with a price after about 10 minutes, which was 50 odd quid cheaper than elephant. Its worth a shot. You could probably try more local brokers too.. or put it on limited milage on the policy, increase excess etc etc.. Good luck with it dude

Unless you have specialist trackday insurance I can pretty much guarantee your policy will state you aren't covered for the Nurburgring. Gaz6002
Is there no regulations around insurance companies? Yes, there are. The premiums are worked out on a risk profile for each individual, so each price will be different for every person. It's a very complicated set of criteria. Gaz6002
is it not classed as a toll road anymore? Most insurance policies have small-print stating specifically that you won't be covered if you drive on the Nordschleife. Mine does.

Safely Insured
i wonder if sky will help me in this?! PM me your details and I will see if we can help, I'll need your name, postcode and contact number. Also, with a lot of London postcodes, off road/garage parking is becoming essential for us. Thanks
