Geo
So now myself and Lins are in the New Gaff, one of the things im planning on changing is the Boiler to an Updated one that constantly gives us Hot water.. As at the moment we have the boiler and then a Tank in the Loft that holds(xx) amount of water. So if you have a shower/bath then someone else has a shower/bath there is no hot water then available for the next person etc. Thoughts guys cheers

Havard
Vaillant, Worcester or Gloworm. Keep away from Baxi or Ferroli. There are a lot of shit boilers out there so stick to the expensive, reliable ones..!! H.
tomgeer
Worcester Bosch greenstar are good value combi boilers, had ours put in 3 years ago, works perfectly and never skipped a beat, I think you get a 2 year guarantee too.

j_jza80
Depends on your budget really. I'd only ever specify a combi boiler in a small property with maybe 2-3 inhabitants. You get instant water with a combi, but feck all flow rate compared to a storage system. The best system you can have IMO is either a system boiler with an unvented cylinder supplying the domestic water (a high recovery option is available, re heats the cylinder quickly) or a standard high capacity gravity system, with pumped domestic water. Combis (even larger output ones) really are a compromise, competent at everything but excel at nothing. As for Boiler brands, Worcester and Potterton would be my choices, whatever you do avoid Ideal as they sell crap products and have poor customer service. Ricky49
Bosch Worcester 32J I think it is called. It's a cracking bit of kit I have fitted one at my parents and one at the in laws, heard nothing but praise about both of them.
