Branners
Hitting the ground flat from a height like that is liable to compress the spine and even break his back. I think he got lucky just his steering wheel fell off.

skippyboyo1
Is anybody else as excited as me that Sean Bean is doing the voiceover at the start of the bbc coverage? Possibly just me i reckon. But I have always loved the drama of F1 - and for me it just adds to it. Please someone tell me i'm not the only one.... he did this last year mate.....they just used part of it today

tbourner
Why are they ruining the DRS lines? IMO it should be allowed through the whole lap (if you're within the 1 second), that way you'll always get the faster cars in front.

Dnk
As much as this is very exciting with more overtaking than F1 has ever seen isn't this now a battle between the strategists getting the tyre wear right rather than one driver being better than another ? It was good to watch but for me this year on the new tyres will be a lottery rather than the best driver/car winning because they are the quickest/best package. It was good to watch but for me this year on the new tyres will be a lottery rather than the best driver/car winning because they are the quickest/best package. I think completely not the case. Seeing MSC blocking faster cars behind him shows that skills are still required, drivers making use of the KERS and DRS to get past then not having that advantage for the next corner, choosing the best side to overtake taking into account the next 3 or 4 corners, plus the obvious thing of having to drive smooth when required to protect fuel/tyres and having to change your driving constantly through the race, as the cars are to such such fine tolerances that even 10kg of fuel makes a difference to handling/brake balance/etc.
