tbourner
Anyone got recommendations for video editing software, mostly to allow photos to be used in a slideshow with comments and stuff but maybe with video editing as well?
The-Plethora
I use Adobe premier pro, it's a very nice bit of kit and easy enough to use. It's quite expensive but I dare say your favourate torrent site has more competative pricing

tbourner
PC, probably Win XP. Anyone heard of Wax? Just found it on a search, can't download it at work but I might try it later.
The-Plethora
If you just need something basic then Windows movie maker should do what you need, if you dont have it installed you can download a newer version for free.

pistonbroke
Adobe premier elements is very similar to pro, but easier to use. Sony Vegas is also apparently very good. Though I've not tried it yet. I currently use Elements for all my videos, but it's starting to show its age. I'm going to try the new Vegas software in the new year.
