stinboy
With the weather meaning i've effectively been housebound over the weekend it's given me a lot of time to mull over some important issues. So my burning question is this - what is everyones favourite type of pea/bean/pulse? Personally I am a big fan of chickpeas - I try and incorporate them in as many meals as possible. For example, I am having chilli con carne with, yes you guessed it, oodles of chickpeas for my tea They also go well with omlettes. And curry naturally. Josh
I've recently discovered chickpeas in a 'samosa chaat' starter at the local Indian takeaway and damn, they are good As well as that, most of the time I prefer the cheap 'own brand' beans to Heinz or Branston, they seem to taste the best! stinboy
mushy Urrghh they are the worst! The chilli was good although I added far too many tomatoes and not enough chickpeas When will 'the man' (*) realise that one can is not enough and two is just too many, even for me! * by the man I mean the chap who's responsible for chickpea can sizes. Great responsibility.

Charlotte
I like garden peas. I am a fan of the chick of the pea but I'm not keen on pulses and the like.
