jayssupra
Can anyone help me i'm after a picture of the harness that the coil pack conectors are part of, idealy one with the clips fixed to the coil packs, i need this to double check i have put all the clips back in the right place, don't think you can but would like to check as i'm getting a big missfire and car runs very slugish then stalls. with a lot of black smoke out the back, my apexi Afr gauge says 10 but could be lower as this is as low as it goes. all clips have been changed about 3 months ago, plugs were changed at the same time, i had a slight missfire so bought some second hand coils and the car ran worse, so i put my old coil packs back on and car still runs like crap. 1993 Jspec T67 548 bhp
Ian C
You'd be hard pushed to connect the wrong clips to the wrong coils as the wires are carefully sized in length to make sure there is only one possible combination that gets all 6 clips attached. However, I've seen people achieve all kinds of daft things, myself included, so I'll have a look for a pic
Ian C
This is as good as I could find I think that's what you're after?
Chris Wilson
The brown wires all go to the retaining clip sides of the connectors. I think they are brown, going from memory here, the ones that are all the same colour.

little num
the only thing i have done to mine before that makes it sound like yours was, on the timing belt cog there is a timing star, when refitting the cog there is a little alloy plate that actually catches the stars when refitting the cog, this bent 1 star back so the crank sensor missed that star. Once all back together i started the car and it was missing badly and smoking black (overfueling) and would hold tickover, so just a thought you havent had the crank sensor out or the timing star might have fell off as they can.
