Closing window without electric

Done this a few times when my car was being rebuilt following my respray.

You will need to remove the door card and access the motor which drives the window. It is held on with three small bolts which go to three small nuts. They have a phillips head on them. Once these are removed the motor unit will drop down and the window can than be moved up and down manually. Once up or down, reinstall the motor to hold it in place. Once powered up again the motor will be fine. Just don't loose the nuts and bolts.

The main motor is only held into the housing by the magnets of the shaft. Don't worry if this comes out, just place it back inside the casing. Just don't let it get dirty.

No need to remove motor, all you need is is 12V+ and Earth direct of your battery connected to the motor plug (grey as in picture above). The 12V & earth connected one way will wind the window down and switched the other way will send it up.

Haha, nice. Must remember that tip! :D
