Aero-M
Looking at these as the snow we have had recently has ment the car being stuck a few times, I just wondered if anyone has used them and if so are they any good? They look like they take up a lot less room than traditional chains, also lighter and easier to fit if my wife had to put them on. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Brand-New-Pair-Snow-Chain-Socks-205-65x16-/380295121587?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item588b5b0ab3

Gaz6002
The problem with these for me is you can't drive on tarmac with them on.

merckx
You can drive on tarmac with them but they'll wear down much quicker. Dominic Littlewood tested some winter tyres on The One Show, they were very good.

They are suppose to be very good though & the AA is using them to help people out that is stuck.
