well my view is that the OEM one will be fine upto a certain power lever, Mr Toyota put loads of R&D into there pulley. iv just bought and ordered a new OEM one to give to Lee for my build. Im sure it will be fine running about 650-700bhp.

 

Some might have different views but thats just mine. :D

Thats cool if OEM will survive that power level, I just want a GTX35R so it should well be within its limits

 

Hopefully though we will get more detail from one of the Tuners

I think the issue with standard crank pulley is the de-lamination which inevitably occurs, but this is associated with age on standard cars. The factory fitted pulley ie the original, tends to fail earlier on higher powered cars, so it could be suggested that they wont last as long on a high powered car. However we are talking about components that are over ten years old that are failing, so unless you are planning a significant rpm rise and really big power, you should be fine with a new stock pulley.
