neo2810
Chaps, I'm getting a metal scraping/squeaking type sound for a moment on pulloff from first and sometimes in second on clutch release. It sounds like an un-oiled steering column would when you turn the wheel (squeak/scrape type sound). It only seems to happen for the first or second pulloff, and then goes away for the rest of the journey?? I did the tipex test on the crank pulley and that looks ok. Not sure what else it could be, being a mechanical pleb. Any other ideas?

Guest analog
It might be your brakes, possibly worn out?
neo2810
Brakes are perfect, recently refurbed, new pads, discs fine. Clutch or flywheel I guess are the most plausible causes so I'll check them next service.
