Scott
I'm guessing it was corrosion? If so I don't think it will be a 1 off, if it has sheared then it must have taken one hell of a hit.... in fact I would be checking the chassis
Guest pc18
its my mums car so no drifting and bashing off kerbs or anything lol. its a long story which i wont go into but the car had another mot only about 6 weeks or so ago and the garage she went to is unbelievably picky with mots, i know this as my friend works there. so the arb can only have snapped in the past month or so. she said she hasn't noticed any knocking or banging whilst driving it, but she doesnt drive it hard it only really goes to tesco and back lol. i was quite surprised at how thin the bar actually is. i will get a pic uploaded tomorrow
Nic
Any pics? Where did it break? Contact Keron he deals in 2nd hand Supra parts or if you want a new one visit your local Toyota dealer.
monsween
Mine has!!!!! Snapped inside the mount. I didnt notice it and it went for the MOT and was whistling dixie Dont think the facelift/non facelift matters for the ARB. Its a long wait from toyota to get one and i'd advise getting the droplinks/mounts and bolts with it

Chris Wilson
Were these stock ARB's? I have seen several Whiteline tubular bars that have failed, and they aren't even made of seamless tube (CDS), just some office chair material. monsween
The one that snapped on mine was stock anyway
Graham S
Not seen a supra one snapped before personally but as CW has said. I've done work for the 200sx boys and seen a few of those whiteline ARB's broken.. One the cheap white/silvery paint cracks it happens real quick! Guigsy
mine corroded and snapped in the mount too so it was being held in place untill the garage jacked it up and were doing something else when it fell out almost hitting the mechanic
