il work on the passenger side over next few days. il size up the pod over the weekend and start drilling holes and placing a few layers of fibreglass on the weak points.

have you bought your gauges yet? need to have a rough idea on the wires required to feed in the back as il need to drill holes through the pillar

any idea why u drilled a few holes in your pillar mate? it arrived like that. bit random? lol. il fill them up apart from the sensor hole. just a bit random!

coming along now mate:) think I might go for these prosport digital evo gauges they look the part and you can adjust them to be red or blue and theyre fully dimmable take a look on prosport website and let me know what you think.

Haha that wasnt me thats how I bought them off another member lol I was thinking that as well!

gonna do the following line different on this one mate. instead of being like mine and reaching up towards the corner of the windscreen im gonna bring it around slightly and give it a slight curve. it should look well nice when ive finished. its loads lighter than mine, due to having used fibreglass to build up the radius on the joining faces.

Parry, need your help mate. getting further with your pod. need a decision on the design at the top of the pillar.

where the line on the pod joins the pillar i want to do another feature like my own. instead of a straight boring line up to the roof, was thinking of having a curve just as a bit of interior style.

you may think `oh my god what the *** is that rubbish`, if so TELL ME cuz i can easily just remove it. just trying new designs mate, if you have a different design, let me know and il try it. il wait for your reply before i touch this side.

bottom is coming along nicely, getting some shape to it. this end should be smooth as a babys bum by end of weekend.

Triple is getting there, need to tidy it up and give it a sand tonight.

Passenger side ready for top coat primer.

The triple pod is really close to the dash when fitting, your have to be careful when fitting it, I recommend sliding a peice of paper between the pod and the dash to protect is, as it will slightly touch it before the grommits go into the holes. I positioned the pod as far down the piller as I could, as it's a bit in your face. I had the same with mine but it didn't bother me, but wanted to ammend it next one I did; I've hit my head on it twice and mate, it hurts lol.

You've done a really neat job there mate. The all Kenwood gear sound ok? :)

cheers mate just took my time with it, yeh sounds really good nice and clear sound pretty much all the way up to max volume and got a bit of bass from the sub just got to mess around with the settings abit I think. At one point I just had the rear speakers connected and the sound system sounded better with those than the whole stock sound system!

You need to enable the sub out on the head unit, not on as standard, read the book on enabling it. Set the crossover to low pass (or 100hz) on the amp. you can then pull the bass back on the door speakers, and have it straight to the sub.
