hi guys could really do with a bit of advice here as im a bit stuck and dont wana kill myself so close to chrismas!:innocent:

ive got meself a auto tt but have a problem with blowing cold air in the car all the time , ive read all the threads regarding this i could find and had the front of the car up on ramps today running with rad cap off

ow before this i cleared the matrix with hose pipe connected to tap

thought id done it as heater was blowing out pretty warm but when i got it off ramps and went 4 a drive went cold again

i was wondering as car has such high millage 180000kph and not knowing when water pump was last changed could the water pump not have enough to push water around the matrix ie ; on its way out

the car doesnt overheat at all and it does get pushed around the rad ok but this seems more than an air lock or am i wrong

i doubt if its the water pump, if it was that lame the engine would over heat.

180,000 kms is only 111,000 miles, did you get much gunge out the matrix, i guess you have checked the flaps are working correctly.

try bleeding it again as they can be quite stubborn to get all the air out, did you raise the rpm while bleeding it ? the heater air on full hot should also get very hot and not just warm
