nigelboyne
I've been offered a stock UK TT6 with just over 70k miles by someone on here. As soon as I sort funds I think I'm going to go for it. I'll keep people posted 70k genuine mileage thats still low mileage

Josh
Sounds like a good deal if you are getting a good UK TT6 for that. I'm sure it will be. I'll look at everything that needs to be looked at tomorrow and Tuesday as I have them off work then give more details as to what's happening. Getting pretty excited now Never trust the mileage unless its backed up by MOTs etc I won't, but everything looks to be ok so I'll go for it as long as everything is all 100% ok I've been reading/researching since I started looking here so will make sure everything's cool. Thanks again Edited December 12, 2010 by Josh (see edit history)

Tyson
If you can just afford to buy then how the hell are you going to afford to run it ???? What if something goes wrong??? When buying checked for warped brakes as this is common and go for a long drive to get the diff warmed up and check if the oil cooler leaks as this is not cheap to fix, especially if you have no money. Tyson
For a completely standard 94 reg Supra? ahhh 94 plate would explain the slightly lower price, at that its probably well priced. At that price I am surprised it not gone to the continent.

I was only kidding about being broke after buying it I'll make sure everything is ok as this is a rather large purchase for me so I need to make sure there's nothing at all wrong. Thanks for the pointers

Josh
sorry mate just didn't want one of these rare cars being neglected. Yes it is a very big investment but is worth every penny !!! No problem dude . If I didn't have any money it'd be pretty dumb to buy one, I'd hate to not be able to drive it or keep it maintained as it requires. Can't wait to get into Supra ownership and come to some meets in it

Josh
Quick question. Is the UK TT6 known as an RZ model? On the chart on here it shows under 'UK' just 'TT' which is what I thought it was but after phoning round for insurance they're asking what the exact model is and when I said "UK Spec" they're saying "Is that RZ or SZ?". Can anyone help? Thanks
Dnk
The UK spec is just a uk spec, its only varients are auto gearbox or 6 speed manual gearbox, there is a model list on here somewhere explaining all the models, the rz, gz, sz, are all imports This is why you insure these cars with specialist companies that know all the variants, some companies will actually quote you for the mk3 so be very wary Edited December 13, 2010 by Dnk (see edit history)
Josh
The UK spec is just a uk spec, the rz, gz, sz, are all imports Just as I thought! I called LWIB but you have to be 25. They asked what the exact model was so I said "UK Spec Twin Turbo" and she said "is that an RZ or SZ?" so I said "It's just the UK Spec" and she said she had to put the correct model to proceed so I said "RZ". I'll just say "UK Spec" next time and leave it at that! Now to try A-Plan. Cheers Dunk
