LED conversion

I have been watching these for a while now and they are now on offer so its time to buy.

But before I get to keen I would like to ask some advise the items are below.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220585949861&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_7531wt_905

This link is simply plug and play, so I would like to ask if any members have bought from them before, and if so what was the quality like and do they look any good in the flesh.

the next part is this.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Toyota-TRD-Supra-JZA80-AC-PANEL-Dashboard-HID-LED-LEDs-/220585951460?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item335bf280e4#ht_5805wt_905

Now this I understand requires some soldering and I have absolutely no experience in doing any of this so my questions are-

-what do they look like once fitted

-most importantly how simple is this?

Hope some of you guys can shed some light on this for me

Jake.

Jake.

wow, thats expensive for what you get (for the A/c unit) £16 for JUST 36 LED's and NO Resistors/Zener Diode... And £20 Odd for FOUR LED replacement bulbs...

If you want to see whats involved in fitting/soldering the resistors in, take a look at the guide I wrote... http://www.internetwork.org.uk/led_guide/led.htm

Is it really that expensive and as you have experience in doing this how much would it cost to change all of the bulbs behind the the speedo, rev counter etc then if I was just to order the LED's, and what ones would you suggest for a nice white look?

Also I see that you do the a/c unit LED conversions how much would that cost?

I do the whole lot - heater unit, slip/auto spolier/heated seats, drivers window switch, cigar lighter, ODO, Clock, ignition barrel and Dash Guages for £100 inc post exchanged.

How much would it be for all of it excluding the slip/auto spoiler/heated seats as I have none of those mod cons :(

and i do not mean to seem rude but the two adds together i posted would come to 50 is i no you would have to do the ac unit and make a profit though.

and i am sorry to seem a lil dim, when it comes to electronics its just really not my area.

For your package you do does it mean it is simply plug and play? and also would it mean i have to send you my ac unit?

with out the "mod cons" £85 - I charge £55 for the ac unit as thats the most labour intensive part.

Yup, all plug and play. I'd send you the parts all ready converted, you fit them, then send your old parts back to me. For the Dash clocks and ign barrel, I'll send you LED replacement bulbs.

ok thank you well in that case I will not go ahead and buy these on ebay then and i will get in contact with you soon as £85 seems really good to me. :D

the only thing I would say is that my ac unit, only has half the leds work at the moment, so if i was to send that to you would this actually be any use to you. or would i just have to purchase yours and not send you mine.
