colsoop
My car has now done 84000 miles and the handling from the front of the car has become a bit vague and wallowy. I have ordered new bilstein dampers but was thinking of changing all the bushes for polyurethane ones. I wondered whether any members have done this already and how they found it afterwards in terms of handling and ride quality. thank you ta

colsoop
Yeah thanks for that. I remember the thread he went a bit further than i was planning to as he replaced top arms, lower arms, tie bars, drop links, track rod ends. I just want to do the bushes unless some of the above need replacing.
Bobbeh
have you tried tightening the subframe boklts? That usually tightens up the handling.
CJ
Mine feels the same ATM Col. I took mine along to Phoenix and they reccomended replacing the front bushes as everything else looked AOK.
Nic
Col, I replaced all my front bushes with TRD ones and all the rear links/arms with new Toyota ones. Made a huge improvement to the handling of the car, see write up [thread=34663]HERE[/thread] I would definitely recommend doing this when you fit the new Bilsteins. colsoop
I am looking at bushes as well but i doubt i could afford the trd ones, i have no job and cant justify the expense unfortunately . I have looked at mvp's website and have seen the r2 racing control arm bushing kit for the front and rear, is anyone using this?
