Gaz Walker
They do on all the Jspecs. How I dunno Might be when you reverse or turn off the ignition or something? Gaz.
GavinL
I don't think they do on all models. Lack of a button says your model/year didn't

Gordon F
I think you either get heated ones, or fold in ones. Heating comes on with rear screen demist.

John:looney: thats what mine do on clifford alarm. asked alarm fitter to wire them up for me. the dont fold up until the ignition is off though, so if you have remote start activated then you arm the alarm the mirrors dont fold in till engines off.if car in valet mode they dont fold in. there should be a long switch on right hand side where you can do it manual and i read that you have heated or folded not both

Supra Pilot
Correct Gordon, Either heated or fold in... My J spec has the Auto fold in feature, but the Uk spec hasn't, but has heated mirrors. Dom

MONKEYmark
Originally posted by Alex Holdroyd In our climate IMO its preferably over the daft auto fold feature... folding ones look more trick and less chance of a drunk walking into them like they did on my mk3 supra

You definately can't warm a pair of mirrors without the circuitry(sp?)..you can fold 'em manually.

Barry
I have the fold in ones, I agree it is a bit daft but if I ever park in a multi-story car part I always fold them in as you will always get someone brush past them when they try to get into their car. I also fold them back in my garage so I can get out.!!!! I'd much prefer heated ones though, I assume its just a matter of replacing the glass with one with the heater elements and wiring it into the heated rear screen switch??? The heated wing mirrors I have managed to smash had the element in the back plate not in the glass element.
